WiSER Pioneers Program

Having the opportunity to attend the 2025 SDGs in Action Forum at the World Governments Summit was a great privilege, having heard from country leaders, ministers, and company executives on the progress made through their actions taken on addressing SDGs, and the forward-looking commitments they shared at the forum.

The WiSER Pioneer Program is a unique opportunity for women leaders to accelerate change and make a significant impact in the global energy transformation. This distinguished program is unique, offering women all over the world, the ability to gain knowledge, expand networks and enhance leadership skills.  Pioneers build confidence, courage and capabilities that support career advancement to accelerate global and local results. These are the next generation leaders of a more sustainable future.

Access to clean energy for cooking can change lives. But for the energy transition to succeed, women must be deeply engaged at all levels of decision-making. The WiSER Pioneers Program is a valuable partner in this effort, providing women in STEM and sustainability with the skills and connections they need to help shape a better energy future for all.

I joined the WiSER program to connect with like-minded professionals driving sustainability and innovation and to empower women to contribute meaningfully to this field. I aim to gain deeper insights into sustainable solutions and environmental practices, empowering me to foster impactful collaborations that advance global sustainability goals and support the transition to a cleaner future.

I am honored to join the 2025 WiSER cohort, connecting with passionate sustainability professionals to exchange insights on cutting-edge innovations, driving impactful change, and advancing sustainability to foster a more sustainable future in the UAE and beyond.

The public speaking workshop was a transformative experience. It not only helped me refine my communication skills but also gave me the confidence to speak with clarity and purpose. As a researcher and environmental advocate, this training empowered me to share my message and inspire others. I’m grateful to WiSER for continuously creating such impactful learning spaces.

Being part of the WiSER Annual Forum at ADSW 2025 was an inspiring opportunity to exchange ideas with sustainability leaders. The discussions reinforced the importance of empowering women in the sector, and I’m proud to have contributed to shaping key insights that drive impactful and inclusive solutions for a sustainable future.

I joined the WiSER Pioneers Program to collaborate with inspiring women leading sustainability and climate action. As an environmental management postgraduate, I want to grow as a leader, broaden my global perspective and turn innovative sustainability ideas into real, meaningful impact.

Leadership in the energy transformation goes beyond technology. It’s shaped by people, purpose and shared responsibility. WiSER brings together learning, collaboration, and diverse perspectives to help shape a more sustainable and resilient energy future.

I joined the WiSER Pioneers Program because I want to create meaningful, grounded change in the energy sector. My focus is on practical energy planning and policy, strategies that work in real-world, constrained contexts and align with both technical realities and societal views.

Women deserve to be not just included, but recognized as leaders in sustainability and the energy transformation. That’s exactly what WiSER offers, a space that truly empowers women. I’m honored to be part of this cohort and excited to learn alongside such an inspiring community.

Driving impact at the intersection of sustainability, technology and leadership is what motivates me. Through WiSER, I’m excited to grow my leadership journey, learn from global experts, and collaborate with women shaping future-focused, resilient energy solutions.

I joined WiSER to translate climate and AI modelling into solutions that directly benefit communities, particularly where clean energy access remains a challenge. Learning from global renewable energy leaders helps me connect innovation at scale with real-world impact at home.

WiSER offers a unique opportunity to turn advanced modelling, data, and technology into practical solutions. I’m motivated to bridge global innovation with local impact and bring scalable insights back to the communities that need them most.

Coming from the renewable energy sector, I was drawn to WiSER to better understand the UAE’s sustainability vision and the pathways behind its ambitious goals. I’m inspired by the UAE’s commitment to innovation and global collaboration, and by the role women play in this transformation.

Women’s participation in the energy transformation is not a quota or a KPI, it’s a structural necessity. WiSER is a platform to shift the narrative, from ‘including women’ to building systems that fully integrate women’s skills, leadership and creativity.

My career path hasn’t been linear, from nuclear to solar to AI, but it taught me that technical skills alone aren’t enough. I joined WiSER because I’m ready to grow as a leader and learn from women who hae built resilient, impactful careers in STEM.
